During this course we will look at different herbs which you can grow at home and which have multiple uses both in the kitchen, as a cosmetic or as remedies.

3 week course (Mondays) starting Mon 14th June 10.30am – 12.30pm An insight into this holistic natural relaxing therapy which includes areas of the back, shoulders, arms, neck, head and face.

The Wonder of Weeds – their traditional and modern uses

Saturday 26th June 2010 10am – 4pm
A classroom presentation consisting of a brief history of herbal medicine, it’s main principles, how it differs from Chinese Medicine and Homeopathy and what to expect from visiting a herbal practitioner. It will be followed by a 2 hour walk (dependent on weather)
Participants should bring a pack lunch and wear comfortable walking shoes and suitable clothing.
